  In “Fluke, Flake, Fraud–or All Three?” I laid out the case that 30 year old Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke was, by definition, both a slut and a prostitute as Rush Limbaugh alleged last week. 

Limbaugh’s scathing terminology was unfortunate and he later apologized but Ms. Fluke, revelling in the limelight she purposefully created, rejected his mea culpa.

  President Barack Hussein Obama may trample on the Constitution, invoke the name of Jesus Christ to further his re-election, and deny Catholics religious freedom with Obamacare–and that’s only in the last week–but, to his credit, has not turned the White House into a whorehouse unlike some of his fellow Democrats. 

Lyndon Baines Johnson was a noted womanizer and James Earl Carter admitted to lusting in his heart but apparently neither used the executive mansion as a bawdy house.  William Jefferson Clinton and John Fitzgerald Kennedy did.

   Just a year after Natasha Richardson, daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, met her untimely death in Quebec, Britain’s Redgrave clan gathered together once again to mourn the passing of Lynn Redgrave, the homely antiheroine of “Georgy Girl,” (1966). 

F.Scott Fitzgerald famously, supposedly, once commented to Ernest Hemingway that “the rich are different from the rest of us” to which Hemingway famously and supposedly retorted, “Yes, they have more money.”

As the Paramount Leader of China, Hu Jintao, the Chinese Tiger Father, wings it back to the homeland after eating alive the American dove, there’s a new the talk of the town, the Chinese Tiger Mother, Amy Chua.

In a lengthy interview, Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes dropped a big bomb on President Obama saying, without clarification, “He just has a different belief system than most Americans.”  That’s a truism known to conservatives for years.

  Call me a cynic, call me an iconoclast, call me whatever you wish but I never bought into the whole Oprah Winfrey wholesome thing.

And it’s not just because of her anti-war stance, her refusal to have Sarah Palin on her show until after the 2008 election, her car giveaway when the recipients had to pay tax on the vehicles, her phony feud with Letterman, or her bias in touting books.

  In the last election, there was much ado about white guilt, the idea that many whites voted for Barack Obama precisely because he was black, even though some blacks felt he was “not black enough” to be representative of the African-American community.

I don’t know if there have been any substantive studies conducted since November, 2008 to determine how much a factor white guilt played in Obama’s election or if it were a significant factor.
