Recently, a Long Island weekly, The Independent, caused a stink with a satire written by its editor, Rick Murphy, lampooning Democratic presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama. (page B3, January 23, 2008)

The article appeared in Murphy’s usually acerbic and tasteless, ”Low Tidings” column but this time Murphy outdid himself, outdid in the sense of outdoing Imus’ “nappy-headed ho’s” reference to the Rutgers women’s basketball team.

Much has been made of this incident, with Obama-ites alleging a still photo had been doctored when in fact it’s a video which has clearly NOT been altered.
