Damn!  I missed another significant anniversary, an anniversary that should not have been missed.

With all the hulabaloo over the 41st anniversary of America’s moon landing and Obama’s “stupidly” comment coming home to roost in the White House attic, I forgot about the drowning death of a beautiful, young girl, Mary Jo Kopechne   on the night of July 18th, 1969.

The following pictures are misleading.  They may seem to represent human beings but that is just a popular misconception.  In actuality, they are merely photos of pre-socialized, easily dispensable and possibly burdensome and inconvenient non-humans.

Much to my chagrin, this year I forgot the anniversary of the unprovoked Israeli attacks on the American ship, the USS Liberty.

Without recounting all the details of that assault, it occurred a little over 42 years ago on a clear June 8th, 1967 and resulted in the deaths of 34 officers and seamen, severe injuries and maimings of another 174, and the near-scuttling of a United States naval vessel.  Our nation was at peace at the time.

  Today, Mrs. Sarah Palin officially resigned the governorship of the great state of Alaska. 

Acting midway through her first term, she had already been reviled as a quitter and ridiculed as a loser by the same leftist terrorists who castigated her during the presidential campaign.  Then as now she emerged as one classy lady.

Liberia: Land of Condoned Rape: Most American parents would break out their shotguns and meat cleavers to deal with an attack on their eight year old daughter.  Not in Arizona in the case of relatively new refugees from Liberia.
