 “The Bush Civil Rights Division was willing to protect all Americans from racial discrimination; during the Obama years, the Holder years, only some Americans will be protected. Americans have a right to know and judge the racial policies of the administration they elected in 2008.”
Those are the words of someone who should know, a fellow by the name of J. Christian Adams who served as an election lawyer in the Civil Rights section of the Department of Justice for many years, until he witnessed what to a dedicated lawyer was a subversion of justice.
That subversion related to various cases the Obama/Holder DOJ has mishandled and especially the case of the New Black Panthers and the undisguised–and official–favoritism being extended to black defendants by our new Department of Justice.
In a resignation letter dated May 14, 2010 Adams cited the merits of that case as well as the “belligerence” of the New Black Panther defendants, particularly by Malik Zulu Shabazz.   He may have been the Panther, decked in combat gear and wielding a billy club outdside a Philadelphia polling site on November 4th, 2008 who said, ”Now you see what it’s like to be ruled by the black man, cracker!”

Adams discussed his grievances against the DOJ and his reasons for leaving a job he loved in an extended interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox News. Not unsurprisingly, the rest of the MSM didn’t deem Adams’ sentiments worthy of coverage.
Among his comments to Kelly:
. No voter intimidation cases will be brought against black defendants when the victim is white;
. The DOJ’s handling of the New Black Panther case “constitutes corruption;”
. Other attorneys at DOJ “know the truth” about that case but have been muzzled;
. Assistant Attorney General Tom Perez knowingly testified to lies before the Civil Rights Commission;
. There is “an open hostility” in the DOJ against white complainants;
. AG Eric Holder was fully briefed on the details of the Panther case;
. “I’m a American who believes in the Constitution and the law.”

What then are we to make of a decent, concerned, long time, loyal employee of the United States Department of Justice who would give up his livelihood to become a whistle-blower and expose deep-seated racist corruption in the DOJ?Â
I say J. Christian Adams should be accorded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his meritorious service in defense of the cause of equal justice for all. Just don’t expect any medals to be awarded to Adams while a black racist resides in the White House and a black racist presides over the Department of Injustice.
