The Mosque of

Now that the radical Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf has hit the trifecta in his quest to build his Park51, formerly known as the Cordoba Initiative, New York’s Monster Mosque just may be a go.

(The project name was changed due to the very negative associations with Cordoba, home to the Great Mosque in Cordoba, Spain which was built on the foundations of a Christian cathedral, a fact Muslims would not want Christians to think too much about.)

Rauf must be leaning on his architects to get the project moving so that it will be ready for its scheduled grand opening on, what else?, September 11th, 2011, the tenth anniversary of the Islamic attack on the World Trade Center.

Is that scheduling, indeed, the entire obscenity that is the Cordoba House Initiative/Park51, not the most outrageous example of Muslim in-your-face arrogance of this century, building a monument to Islam barely two blocks from Ground Zero?

Nevertheless, the Islamists now have the Democrat president of the United States as well as the Democrat governor of New York State and the lifelong Democrat mayor of New York City in their corner, all of them spouting the same tired drivel of freedom of religion while ignoring the essential truth that the Islamic religion is irrelevant in this matter.

Does our Jewish mayor ever think of what the Islamists in our midst think of him?

The perfect analogy has already been articulated.  Would it be racially discriminatory to deny the Japanese the right to erect a monument to Japan’s navy on the shore of Pearl Harbor?  More pertinently, would the Japanese even attempt to build such a disgrace even seven decades after the sneak attack of December 7th, 1941?

The answer to both questions is a resounding no!

Yet Muslims, less than ten years after the worst attack on American soil in America’s history, the same people who financed, meticulously planned, and mercilessly executed the attacks of September 11th, 2001 now have the audacity to attempt to rub our noses in their bloody successes of that day.

Keep in mind that many of those Muslims not directly involved in those attacks gleefully applauded and exulted in the murders of 3,000 people.

Remember also the last words spoken by the Muslim leader of those jihadists who had perpetrated the atrocity, Mohammed Atta.  Just split seconds before his hijacked Boeing 767 exploded through the North Tower at 8:46 a.m., Atta screamed a common Muslim expression of faith, a prayer to his god, “Allahu Akhbar!,” or “God is great!”

He thereby was dedicating his mission to his god and to his Islamic religion, the same religion that wants to erect a mosque/cultural center almost on the very spot that Atta crashed American Airlines Flight 11.

I was waylaid in process by personal sentiment but this essay was begun with the idea of providing a brief introduction to an article published on entitled, ”Victory Mosques” which far more forcefully, articulately, and with an excellent sense of historicity presents the case against the Cordoba House/Park51:

In brief, “Victory Mosques” contends that the obscene Monster Mosque at Ground Zero is nothing more or less than a victory mosque, a physical, nervy, and presumptuous declaration of a Muslim victory on 9/11 informing America that Islamists won and we lost that day and we should learn to live with that fact.

The article is a good and very informative read.

Should America allow the Monster Mosque at Ground Zero, we will be acquiescing: We will be conceding that we have lost and we had better learn to live with it as well as with a lot of other things Muslims want, such as Sharia Law. door to Ground Zero mosque
