Shock–and awe–are relative terms.  Some people can be shocked if they witness a purse-snatching, others won’t be even mildly shocked by a gruesome mass murder.  The following have been shockers to at least some individuals:

Abortion is Murder   Abortion Video–Missy Reilly Smith has had two abortions and, like Norma McCorvey, the “Jane Roe” of Roe v. Wade, is now a dedicated pro-lifer.  She is also a candidate for the position of D.C. delegate to the House of Representatives, a post long-held in a lockhold by Elizabeth Holmes Norton.

Smith figured that since she had been there and done that that she was well-qualified to acquaint women, teens, and others with something most people either don’t know or don’t want to know, namely what really happens to pre-born babies when an abortion is committed.

Accordingly, as part of her campaign, Smith ran 30 second spots on local television stations in the Washington area which graphically demonstrated the so-called “products of abortion,” an act she rightly terms “murder.” Үр хөндөлтөөр амь зогоодог   The spots are so graphic that the stations, legally required by federal law to air, felt compelled to introduce with a 15 second disclaimer. YouTube banned them as “shocking and disgusting.”  Animal killers vs. baby

Smith’s ads come with her impassioned voice over speaking on behalf of both women and babies: “I was told it’s not a baby. They lied to me. They exploited me, she swears. “Then I learned the truth and I’ve suffered for years. And believe me I am angry. My heart has been ripped out. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Norton–they all support the murder of babies and the abuse of women by abortion. It’s time to make child killing illegal again.”

The spots can be viewed on Smith’s website which boasts that she has the support of the Tea Party and McCorvey, Alan Keyes, and Father Frank Pavone and others.  The website also claims that the “Tea Party’s Number One Mission [Is to] End Legalized Child-Killing:”

The pictures are unsettling.  They also are real.

In addition to being an anti-abortion activist, Smith is a white Christian, doesn’t like Democrats or President Obama, and founded a chastity program, all of which will probably disqualify her from succeeding Eleanor Holmes Norton in D.C.

Teen Homosexuality–As testimony to the efficacy of the manic, homosexual drive for younger and younger recruits, a study published in the journal Pediatrics has found that almost 10% of teenagers have had same sex “partners,” the standard euphemism for gays.

Thanks to the tireless activism of homosexuals, including staging gay proms, gay pride weeks, schools’ “days of silence,” etc. and politicians and governments endorsing and promoting those aberrations, Pediatrics revealed that 9.3 percent of teenagers say they have had at least one partner of the same sex.  That percentage contrasts sharply with a 2002 study of Massachusetts and Vermont teens which showed that 5% to 6% of teens had had same-sex partners.

So, what do we make of that almost doubled percentage in less than a decade?  Are we to assume that, at that rate of increase, America within a century will devolve into a nation of gays, meaning a nation doomed to historical oblivion?

Aside from the American teen sexual explosion over that decade and that homosexual activism and political complicity, Massachusetts shrink Dr. Daniel Carlat suggests that,”As homosexuality has become more and more accepted in society, [attributable to the aforementioned activism and complicity] people are more willing to acknowledge their sexuality than they used to be.”

Lesbian Sex 101: 101 Lesbian   Teens also love to flout adults and adult standards of rectitude and experiment with sometimes risky behavior, a tendency explained by Pediatrics in its determination that over a third of those experimenters identified themselves as straights, as heterosexuals, and that over half of young gay males doing the nasty did the nasty without condoms, a virtual death wish in this age of AIDS.

In addition, another caveat must be considered, that these new findings were predicated on data gleaned from health surveys completed by 17,220 teenagers in New York City, which is far from the best locale for statistical sampling.

Even so, the study “found that those who had sexual encounters with members of their own gender or with both genders were more prone to forced sex, dating violence and risky sexual behavior, including a failure to use condoms. That put teenagers who had had a gay sexual experience at a greater risk for contracting STDs:”

Translated, those kids were raped.

Word to wise teens and to dumb teens: Common sense dictates that keeping it in your pants or panties is a smart move if you want to live childless beyond 17, if you’d like to live long enough to meet your grandkiddies, and if you have the smarts to distinguish youthful rebellion from activities that are often irredeemable and self-destructive.

They’re different, by the way.
