Hugo Chavez Death Photo?  Ex-convict, Marxist revolutionary, America/Bush/Jew-basher, Castro/Gaddafi/Muggabe-lover, Venezuela’s tyrannical president, El Comandante Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, may have assumed room temperature on Tuesday but he lives on in the disturbed hearts and minds of those who deeply admired him and his “accomplishments.”

Among Chávez’ admirable accomplishments were introducing failed Marxist economic policies, supporting the socialist governments of Evo Morales in Bolivia, Rafael Correa in Ecuador, and backing the disgraced Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua, all of which “accomplishments” rank about as high as Adoph Hitler’s achieving his “Final Solution.”

Chávez’ many admirers include America’s President Barack Hussein Obama, despite the tyrant’s frequent expressions of contempt for our country, other Marxist-Communists such as Russia’s president-by-default Vlad Putin, and leftist American celebrities like Sean Penn, Oliver Stone, George Clooney, et al. who all bemoaned Chávez’ death as if they had lost a bosom buddy.

Dutiful fellow socialist that he is, Comrade Obama is dispatching a high-level U.S. delegation of mourners to show America’s respect at Chávez’s funeral and, perhaps, to show that he wasn’t bothered at all by Venezuela’s peremptory expulsion of two U.S. military attaches” on the day Chávez passed on to his hellish reward.

And, it gets worse.

–Former Democrat congressman, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is in deep mourning for his tyrant friend who managed to  accumulate a $2 billion fortune bilked from Venezuelans while he diligently strove to improve the lot of his nation’s poor.  Bobby Junior may be facing a difficult decision now.

Robert Kennedy Jr. Declares  Will he dip into his personal fortune in order to drag a heating oil hose up to the tank of freezing, poor people or will he counsel them to wear their fur coats indoors?

–Rep. Jose Serrano, D-N.Y., who represents a district covering part of the Bronx, praised Chavez on Twitter: “Hugo Chavez was a leader that understood the needs of the poor. He was committed to empowering the powerless. R.I.P. Mr. President.”

Rep. Serrano felt no need to reference his hero’s history of repression and corruption and womanizing, all apparently inconsequential to liberal-leftists.

–America’s addled, retired president, Jimmy Carter declared “President Chavez will be remembered for his bold assertion of autonomy and independence for Latin American governments and for his formidable communication skills and personal connection with supporters in his country and abroad to whom he gave hope and empowerment.”

Speculation continues that Carter will soon be committed to D.C.’s St. Elizabeths Hospital for a much-needed, long-overdue psychiatric evaluation.

–In defiance of American flag protocol, Citgo lowered the flag to half mast at its Houston corporate headquarters and at its Corpus Christie refinery in Chavez’ honor.

Someone should remind the honchos at Venezuelan-owned Citgo that our flag may only be lowered for the death of foreign dignitaries if indicated by a presidential directive–and warn their outlets that anyone who gets gas at Citgo is nuts and should get their heads examined. CITGO 4X6 Double Sided Flag. Product Code: CO8049
Then there’s the reactions from the world’s peanut gallery:

–Iran’s screwy president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, contends Chávez will be resurrected along with Jesus Christ, and probably Imam Mahdi, and that he will be brought back to life despite the fact ”He is alive, as long as nations are alive and struggle for consolidating independence, justice and kindness. . . and will bring peace, justice and perfection for all.”

Mahmoud is himself famous for his sense of independence, kindness, peacefulness, justice, and perfection which he shows by threatening the annihilation of the planet.

–Russian Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov is demanding an investigation into Hugo’s passing because it was “far from a coincidence” that six leaders of Latin-American countries who had criticized the U.S. simultaneously contracted cancer.

Zyuganov made no mention of investigating the massive voter fraud and murders of dissident journalists in Mother Russia which many believe are the work of former KGB officer and current Russian president Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.   Is Vladimir Putin the man Who

–The president of the European Commission and the president of the European Council, Jose Manuel Barroso and Herman Van Rompuy, as well as Socialist French president Francois Hollande and German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle also jumped on the Hugo Praisewagon, the latter characterizing Chávez’ death as “a heavy blow.”

Westerwelle didn’t identify just who suffered most from that “heavy blow”; it certainly wasn’t Venezuela which now has at least has a shot at becoming a true democracy.

As John Donne wrote in his Meditation XVII, “Any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind,” reason enough to express some regrets over the untimely passing of Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías.  However, with our world in the precarious state it’s in today, Chávez’ mourners would do well to remember Donne’s next line: “and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

Evidenced by his last, mouthed words to his doctors, “Please don’t let me die,” Hugo seemed well aware for whom the bell was tolling and of what lay in store for him in the hereafter.  His doctors let him die, anyway.  Venezuelan VP Nicolas Maduro has announced that Chavez’s body will be preserved in the same manner as that of Russia’s Vladimir Lenin and China’s Mao Zedong, so “he will always be with the people.”  Lucky them.
