COMMON CORE  Since “The Rotten Core of the Common Core–Part Five” was posted on this website, much has been said and written about–and disputed about–the stealth scheme to nationalize and subvert American education with the Common Core State Standards Initiative, essentially designed by hand-picked soulmates of President Barack Hussein Obama and his federal government. 

When America’s racist Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, arrogantly ridiculed opponents of the Common Core as nothing more than “white suburban moms who—all of a sudden, their child isn’t as brilliant as they thought they were, and their school isn’t quite as good as they thought they were,” there was an understandable uproar from both those ignorant “white suburban moms” as well as from many non-white inner city moms. 

However, as usual, none of their indignation was reported by Obama’s mainstream media who instead suggest that the “problems” with the Common Core insistence on such important issues as incessant student testing are nothing more than “hiccups” equivalent to the hiccups of the catastrophic Obamacare launch. 

As Caitlan Emma wrote on Politico.com, “The education world is scrambling to avoid its own version of a full-scale HealthCare.gov meltdown when millions of students pilot new digital Common Core tests this spring.”  According to the Washington Post, some 530 New York State school principals and almost 3,000 parents have argued against Common Core’s one-size-fits-all, standardized tests which not only produced dismal results but caused young kids to literally lose their lunches–and their bowel and bladder control! 

Many test-takers cried and many others simply gave up due to questions such as this:

As detailed here ad nauseum, the problems with the Common Core may not exceed the problems with Obamacare, which are disgraceful enough, but do involve the education and future of America’s children–not immediate life or death issues yet issues critical to kids and to America’s future.

Closely related to the Common Core is the relentless campaign by its proponents and fellow travelers to discredit the only bright spot in American education, home schooling.

Proven to be far more effective and far less immersed in political correctness and the quest for diversity and the inane dedication to student self esteem at the expense of student learning and achievement in public schools, home-schooling parents are being harrassed and intimidated like never before in an obvious attempt to get them to surrender their children to the ungentle clutches of public educators and the insidious Common Core.

In Ohio, a bill proposed by Democrat State Senator Capri Cafaro would require parents who have decided to homeschool their children to submit to an investigation by social services, who would decide whether those parents’ intentions would or would not be allowed.

The Home School Legal Defense Association further explains that Sen. Cafaro’s Senate Bill 248 “requires all parents who homeschool to undergo a social services investigation which would ultimately determine if homeschooling would be permitted. Social workers would have to interview parents and children separately, conduct background checks and determine whether homeschooling is recommended or not. If it is not recommended, parents would have to submit to an ‘intervention’ before further consideration of their request to homeschool.”

(Incidentally, no efforts are suggested in Sen. Cafaro’s bill to establish the qualifications of Ohio public school parents to even be parents or requiring their background checks.)

In another demonstration that the Common Core is at least as flawed as Obamacare, one school supply company is obviously finding it difficult to hire  qualified, or un-qualified, people to work on curriculum.  A Pass Educational Group  has resorted to trying to fill jobs writing Common Core lesson plans by advertising on Craig’s List but insisting on “strong math writers and content editors for K-12 assessment items and lesson plans.”

Why are Americans in 45 states tolerating the imposition of the Common Core abomination?  Can we all say together, government and media brainwashing?
