Regardless of what pap President Barack Hussein Obama serves up to the American people when he delivers his State of the Union speech on Tuesday, most if not all of it will be meaningless.
His expected appeal to end America’s “income inequality” by hiking the national minimum wage and extending federal unemployment benefits, his assurances that Obamacare is a rousing success, his pleas to fix our broken immigration policies, his dire warnings about global warming, his misrepresentations of our sputtering economy, his rosy descriptions of his foreign policy achievements?
All are meaningless since Obama has effectively declared he doesn’t give a damn about anything anyone thinks.
His only real concern is the November 4th midterm elections which promise to either make or break the final two years of his presidency.
The SOTU is delivered annually to a joint session of Congress in accordance with the Constitution’s mandate under Article II, Section 3 that the president “shall from time to time give to Congress information of the State of the Union and recommend to their Consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient.”
Obama’s recommendations to Congress in 2014 have never been more “necessary and expedient” at the same time they have never been more useless and irrelevant since he has already indicated his intent to bypass our legislators to get his way. As he arrogantly, petulantly told his Cabinet recently, “I’ve got a pen and I’ve got a phone–and I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive actions and administrative actions that move the ball.”
Obama’s liberal-leftist “balls” have largely been thwarted by ballsy Republican conservatives in the House of Representatives so our reputed constitutional scholar-president has decided he will simply ignore the Constitution and Congress by “legislating” via executive fiat in order to advance his extremist agenda.
Adolph Hitler and Joe Stalin must be Barack Obama’s unacknowleged heroes, in addition to his known heroes Saul Alinsky and Bill Ayers, all of whom would gleefully approve his unprecedented, authoritarian power grab.
When Obama struts to the podium next Tuesday, the most important issues facing our country will not be troubling him at all.
–He will rave on about how meanspirited America is by not over-paying uneducated, unskilled workers, a continuation of his socialistic “share the wealth” idea of six years ago.
–He will insist that millions of illegal immigrants be legalized and accepted into America’s collective bosom.
–He will rant about the necessity of implementing U.N.-inspired initiatives to stem the tide of non-existent global warming.
–He will tout the benefits of the mislabeled Affordable Care Act while ignoring overwhelming evidence it is already an unaffordable train wreck.
–He will cite the importance of America’s allies who have come to mistrust him and doubt virtually everything he says.
–He will preach that the nation’s economy is really in hunky dorey shape despite multiple indicators that it’s on the verge of total collapse.
However, with his beady eyes intently focused on November and what Rush Limbaugh calls the “low information voters” who elected him twice, Obama will undoubtedly avoid referencing certain ugly economic, political, and social realities that could help make them informed.
Obama won’t dare mention that 20% of American households are now dependent on Food Stamps.
He won’t mention respected Wall Street advisor David John Marotta who calculates the country’s true unemployment rate at 37.2% and the Misery Index at 14, as opposed to the government’s propaganda numbers of 6.7% and 8.
He won’t mention the study that shows 8 out of 10 Brits now favor sweeping immigration limitations out of fear Americans will follow suit and demand he finally seal our borders.
He won’t mention Britain’s senior military advisor Sir Hew Strachan who characterized him as “chronically incapable” of military strategy, falling far short of President George W. Bush.
And, no way on God’s green earth will President Barack Hussein Obama even acknowledge the existence of journalist Nat Hentoff, long the conscience of civil libertarianism and liberalism.
Hentoff believes that Obama “doesn’t give one damn about the separation of powers.” He added, “Never before in our history has a president done these things. This is the worst state, I think, the country has ever been in” and he strongly suggested impeachment as the best recourse to preserve America’s freedoms and independence.
There is an extended slew of other pressing issues our president won’t address during his State of the Union speech, everything from the epidemic of black mayhem to a new Marist Poll showing that 84% of Americans support restrictions on abortions to his using the IRS harass and intimidate conservatives to his potheaded view that marijuana is no worse than cigarettes or alcohol, an opinion contradicted by established research and his own Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly will interview Obama on Super Bowl Sunday, less than a week after the president misleads America and Congress on the true state of our union and less than ten months before the crucial mid-term elections. We can only hope O’Reilly at least touches on some of those issues–but don’t bet on it.
