Among his many other crimes against humanity, including precipitating the Second World War which claimed 60 million lives, Adolph Hitler endorsed and funded eugenics experimentation, a “science” which in contemporary guise has been responsible for the loss of even more than sixty million lives as well as the loss of thousands of ”progressive” souls.
One of the greatest ironies of recent generations is that the very people Hitler sought to eradicate from the face of the Earth and other American liberals are avid supporters of America’s modern version of Der Führer’s nihilistic ambition to rid the world of Jews and other “indesirables,” the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
In a HumanEvents.com article titled, “It Did Happen Here,” Daniel J. Flynn points out that, long before Hitler’s “Final Solution,” eugenics was widely practiced in most American states. North Carolina is currently in the process of compensating victims of forced sterilizations which went on for 45 years in that state. In Mecklenburg County, fully 80% of those victims were African-Americans in an effort “to improve the stock.” (http://tiny.cc/10mf8)
Flynn cites early “progressives” such as the black hero W.E.B. DuBois, Orthodox Jew and professional anarchist Emma Goldman, and socialist author Edward Bellamy among others who advocated ”genetic cleansing.” However, by far the most influential was the founder of Planned Parenthood, the racist-eugenicist Margaret Sanger.
In a 1926 speech she said, “The American public is taxed, heavily taxed, to maintain an increasing race of morons, which threatens the very foundations of our civilization. There is only one reply to a request for a higher birth rate among the intelligent, and that is to ask the government to first take off the burdens of the insane and feebleminded from your backs. Sterilization for these is the remedy.”
Not mentioned by Flynn was Sangar’s dream of a perfect world and a master race achieved not only by sterilizations but by killing innocent pre-born babies, the establishment of concentration camps for “dysgenic” peoples such as blacks and hispanics, euthanasia for “morons,” and racial segregation.
In 2008, Margaret Sanger was honored by the Smithsonian Institution for her contributions to American culture.
Aside from Planned Parenthood, her chief “contributions” consisted of that group’s funding research into the development of “The Pill” and thereby launching the sexual revolution.
She is also noted for having written about breeding ”a race of human thoroughbreds,” making America ”into a garden for children instead of a disorderly back lot overrun with human weeds,” wanting an inventory of “illiterates, paupers, unemployables, criminals, prostitutes, dope-fiends” so that they could be segregated “on farms and open spaces as long as necessary for the strengthening and development of moral conduct,” and recruiting black ministers for help in limiting the production of black babies. Nevertheless, Planned Parenthood of America, which was founded on the same principles of cleansing the gene pool envisioned by Hitler and Himmler and which aborts African-Americans at a withering pace, is applauded and supported by Jewish and black leaders.
Margaret Sanger must be laughing and dancing in her grave.
